A Brighter Fall Is Here

This year has flown by so quickly. Fall is here and it’s time to get ready. Fall is the time of year where the weather gets cooler, the air has a crisp breeze. The trees begin to change into yellows and oranges. Though here in Florida it might be a little harder to spot these changes. The most notable change to come is to your closet. When fall rolls around people tend to pull out their oranges, burgundys, mustard yellows, and deep greens. Classic fall colors that never go out of style. This year there is a slight change of plans. The fashion world is buzzing with a new wave. This year is the year to embrace a lighter color palette. Lavenders, indigos, and pinks are ready to rule your fall wardrobe.

Lavender is often associated with springtime. A time of year where winter has left and everything is ready to start anew. Lavender is seen in the flowers that bloom in spring as well. For this year lavender gets to move out of the spring, skip through summer and come to get us in the fall. Then we have indigo sneaking in as an up and coming popular fall color choice. People have never been shy about wearing blues in the fall; it's not as popular as colors such as green and orange. 2021 is bringing indigo into the light. And lastly pink, not the singer, is jumping from spring into fall as well. Pink might be the most fun color of them all to incorporate into fall fashion. It’s a sweet, fun color that mostly gets brought out in spring and summer. Now if pink is your color you don’t have to leave it behind.

If you’re someone who loves to wear a brighter and more vibrant tone this fall season is for you. There are new colorful options. Instead of that burgundy sweater that you wear every year try going out and getting a soft pastel lavender one. Take those burgundy leggings with a softer purple pair instead. And the dark green pants you have, trade those in for a bright yellow to go with that new purple sweater. This fall season marks the start of something new. People have worn brighter colors in fall before but if you’re like me you keep it classic every year. Now is the chance to try something new. Even pink is here to brighten this fall up. You can’t go wrong.

You can stick with the usual this fall. Stay in your warm fall tones or come to the light side and try something new. Use this year to break away from those darker colors. Light up the fall with cool fun colors that will make people smile. Try a lavender or yellow or even pink this year. You might find you like it. Bringing some bright colors into fall is sure to spice the season up.
